Plywood Floor For Chicken Coop. I hear about linoleum being put down but would like to see if i can bypass that. It will have 2 inch x 2 inch supports every 2 feet apart that will. The wire needs stripping to clean the wood.
But the most important thing to do is treat your wood. The floor of my new coop is now just a sheet of 1/2 inch plywood (i don't have the chickens yet). You could even lay plywood down and layer it with different materials depending on the season.

Like the home you live in, the roof, gutters and flooring need to work efficiently. I would use a 1/2″ or thicker plywood for the floors, unless people will be walking on them too, in which case go with 3/4″ or thicker. Then, cut the door opening. For a total of three sheets or plywood.
